Online Therapy Counselling Service

General Counselling

You may not be sure where your issues lie, but have a nagging sense that you need something more. General counselling means we can work together on whatever you come to me with on the day. I can help you to navigate concerns in your life including feelings of being overwhelmed, relationship struggles, anxiety and mood issues to name a few.

Alcohol and Drug Counselling

Alcohol and drugs can lead to significant disruptions to life of both the user and their family and friends. Those supporting people with addiction very often need to attend to their own challenges. I can help if you are experiencing your own addiction or if you have a loved one abusing a substance.

Life Transition Counselling

Life is full of changes and some of them provide greater challenges than others. Having been through a number of significant life changes, I can empathise with the sensation of being lost in myself. Counselling can help you to re-identify with yourself and reflect on where you have come from (if appropriate) and possibly where you are going.

Supportive Counselling

Sometimes counselling might be less about mental health struggles and more about life struggles. So if you feel like you are needing support as you experience a challenging situation, have a difficult decision to make or would like support from someone who won’t judge you, counselling can be a great tool. Counselling can be therapeutic and supportive.

My Approach

I am a professionally trained Counsellor who offers a supportive and encouraging environment to explore your needs, with advanced training in online counselling. I work as an integrative therapist which means I use varying techniques and modalities depending on how you present to me on the day and what will provide the appropriate outcome. I draw my approach from aspects of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution focused and Family therapy to mention a few. I am a registered therapist with PACFA, and am dedicated to ongoing professional development.

Should you come to me with issues more complex or outside of my specialisation I will always let you know, to ensure you get the most suitable support that you need.

Online Platform

I have chosen Zoom and the video call function of Power Diary to conduct counselling sessions as they both meet extensive encryption criteria. This provides the safest and most private space for your session that I can manage online. Both offer the option of using video or audio only, if that is required for your comfort. Video is always the preferred method for the conduct of the sessions.

For Zoom a unique code will be emailed to you for each session, once payment has been received. To use Zoom the program will need to be downloaded to your device  (https://zoom.us/download).

Once payment has been received and unique session code will be emailed to you.

The video call function of Power Diary is used via a link that will be sent to you on payment for your session.

What Nicole’s clients are saying

“I found & connected with Nicole when I had lost all other connections to place & people. I was stressed and in a world of hurt. Nicole unpacked all the changes and my decisions, & shone the light on my values. From that point on I came to understand myself better.”

— Client SB

“Nicole sets me little goals or small changes to work on in between our sessions. Nicole gets me to look at problems or issues from different points if views, for me to see how to approach things differently.”

— Client AC

“I find that the fact that Nicole has lots of past life experiences and seems down to earth makes it a lot easier for me to talk to her.”
