Beyond the credentials
I understand what it's like to navigate life's transitions because I've lived them. Coming out of the Army uniform and not knowing how to introduce myself without it was daunting.
I know what it feels like to be invited to something extraordinary - and to almost let fear win. In 2018, I was invited to trial for the Sydney Invictus Games. I said yes to two camps, but fear convinced me I was too overwhelmed, too anxious, too trapped by logistics to attend the first one. The story I told myself was about my partner not knowing the kids' routines - but really, I was terrified of stepping into something unknown.
The second camp, I showed up - shaking on the plane, barely holding it together. That decision changed my life. I became co-captain of the Australian team, met sporting heroes, interviewed royalty, and built friendships that endure today. All because I chose to act despite the anxiety.
I share this because it's the heart of what EVOLVE is about. Our hormones, our responsibilities, our deeply ingrained patterns - they all play a role in keeping us stuck. But with support, encouragement, and small courageous steps, transformation is possible.
I've learned that the most fulfilling life isn't the one that looks perfect on paper - it's the one that feels true to who you really are. I've learned that fulfillment might only come in pieces, because we all have the reality of life to navigate.
I want to help you create that fulfillment among the everyday. Having plans for yourself to live your own life, even when caring for others.

The Six Phases that make up the acronym E.V.O.L.V.E
Week 1:
E - Evaluate Where You Are Now
Create an honest, judgment-free snapshot of where you are right now.
Explore your life with genuine curiosity, like a researcher gathering data - noticing what's working and what's not without judgment, blame, or shame.
What you'll do:
Get curious about how life feels right now - the roles you play, where your energy goes, what's draining you, and what lights you up. Observe patterns with interest, not criticism.What you'll gain:
Crystal-clear awareness of your starting point, gathered with self-compassion. You'll stop pretending everything is fine and start noticing with curiosity what needs to change.The shift:
You're saying yes when you want to say no - now you'll get curious about why.Week 2:
V - Validate Your Story
Uncover the influences and old stories shaping your choices with curiosity and compassion - then decide which ones still deserve a place in your life.
Dig into your stories, values, and influences with curiosity and wonder, not shame or regret. Your past shaped you - now you get to choose what you carry forward.
What you'll do:
Explore the influences, old stories, and patterns that have shaped your choices with genuine curiosity. Look at the dreams you had before life interrupted. Notice the "shoulds" you've been living by and get curious about where they came from.What you'll gain:
Compassionate awareness of patterns and influences - which ones still serve you and which ones don't.The shift:
You become more forgiving of yourself, more empathetic to your younger self. You start recognizing patterns that impact behaviours that don't serve you now - with curiosity, not criticism.*Should past experiences that require counselling or resolution be uncovered here, we can talk about a way forward that might mean coming back to EVOLVE at a later time. Sometimes, counselling is needed before coaching and that is okay.
Week 3:
O - Own Your Identity
Reconnect with who you are beyond the roles - your values, strengths, and authentic self.
Peel back the layers with genuine curiosity to discover what defines you today - with all the life experiences behind you.
What you'll do:
Introduce yourself without a role. Discover and refine the values that truly matter to you now. Get curious about who you are without the "uniform" - mother, partner, professional, caregiver.What you'll gain:
Clear sense of your authentic self and the values that will signpost your life going forward.The shift:
Choices become clearer, decisions feel easier. Confidence begins to grow from taking small steps and knowing yourself. You can say "that's not me" or "this is who I am" with certainty. If no one was watching, would you still live by this value?Week 4:
L - Listen to Your Longing
Design a vision for what's next - a future that feels purposeful, fulfilling, and aligned with who you are now.
Imagine possibilities with openness and curiosity, not certainty. Your vision doesn't have to be perfect - it just needs to feel true to you.
What you'll do:
Develop a genuine sense of what your fulfilling life will look and feel like. Get curious about your "Second Act" without pressure or perfection, but with wonder. What makes your heart sing? What does a day that feels good look like?What you'll gain:
A vision for your next phase that feels purposeful, fulfilling, and aligned with the real you.The shift:
You have clarity on where you're heading and how you want your life to look and feel. The fog lifts - you know what you're moving toward.Week 5:
V - Validate Through Action
Take aligned action with clear steps and boundaries - proving to yourself that your vision isn't just a dream, it's becoming real.
Try, test, and adapt with a mindset of curiosity and exploration. Action validates your vision and proves what's possible.
What you'll do:
Turn vision into action with bravery, clear steps, personal goals, and healthy boundaries that protect your energy. Set a boundary so you can start the hobby you want to try, get to the dance lesson, join the walking group, take time for your course. Get curious about what works and what needs adjusting.What you'll gain:
Practical, aligned steps that fit into your life now - not someday, now.The shift:
You stop waiting for permission or the "perfect time." You take real action toward your fulfilling life. You learn that small steps build confidence and momentum.Week 6:
E - Establish & Embody
Create systems, rituals, and a rhythm for ongoing reflection so your changes become part of who you are - sustained, celebrated, and evolving.
How can you make this stick in a way that suits you? Stay engaged with your growth like an ongoing experiment that fits your life.
What you'll do:
Create rituals, systems, and supportive practices so your changes don't just start - they stick. Plan your week to account for a later night out, book in your 'joy' activity, create space to make choices with less stress. Get curious about what supports you need.What you'll gain:
Sustainable habits and rhythms that protect your new priorities and make your fulfilling life the default, not the exception. Knowing when to check in and re-engage in your life.The shift:
You have systems in place that work for you. Check in with your life wheel, celebrate progress, notice the strengthening health and friendships - not just the to-do list. You're not white-knuckling change, you're living it naturally. -
